This Summer, Ian Strohschein will be coordinating the prayer walks around Downtown Edmonton. The following is a map of where the walks will take place.

Ian says,
“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.”
Not to say that we should walk this everyday but I do believe that once a week or at least on key days we should try to get everyone involved and go on a “prayer march” around the city.
All of this would only be for the days that everyone would get together (like July 1) and would be over and above the areas people are committed to pray for.
Last year on July 1 things kicked off with a breakfast at the Legislature at 7am. At 11am is when the activities began at Churchill Square. It looks like everything wrapped up around 9-11pm. I haven’t been able to find a schedule for 2010 yet but I’m assuming things will be fairly similar.
“He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.“
Like King David I think we should pick 3 times to pray on the 1st. At these times we would go on a longer group “prayer march” around the city or shorter ones to key areas.
“Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.”
God is moving and paving a way for us and I know we are going to see some powerful things this summer.
Ian Stro.
